Yes licking chapped lips actually makes it worst. But you don't need to turn to such unsavoury methods to stop liking your lips.

In recent months, my lips are so chapped from undergoing medication from a dermatologist for my skin condition. Yes, makeup does wonders doesn't it? but I'm tired of hiding under a great wall of china layer of make-up, so I opted for profesional help.

The medication I'm under can have adverse effects, good thing I've got a personal doctor to poke and prod me concerning my health. Lucky me, the worst effect I got was chapped lips. Really chaped lips. Look...

As dry and cracked as the dead sea even with loads of water. It hurts at times too. Not a pleasant experience.

So far I've tried countless products but none really work.

They either end up making my lips

• cakey and waxy,
• requires constant application or
• just plain doesn't work.

So time to bring out the big guns. Something that provides 8hours of protection. Remember this is not an advert. I'm just sharing.

I use to use it for my lips. It was a gift from my brother. He has good taste. But after years of not having lip problems, the time has come for me to call upon this product.

Darn, I forgot I used it to the core. No prob, I'll just pop out to get some more.

It's so difficult to find this brand in Penang, so far I only know of Parkson in Gurney Plaza which were good enough to carry it.

The nice lady there, I think her name was Ms. Mei , was kind enough to recommend me the cream instead as it's more absorbing. About RM 90, RM20 more then the lipstick version but....

Sorry readers. Starting my Christmas shopping early this year.

Only bad thing about this product is the fact if you over apply it, there's a strong medicated smell. So go try out at their counter 1st.
