A trip to the Vet.

2 weeks back I wanted to bring Sky out for a morning walk. It was a beautiful cloudy Saturday morning. But Something was wrong.

Sky was only using 3 of his paws. His left hind paw was up and he refused to use it. This is not good. I made him lie down and felt his leg. No struggle or whinning so I assumed no broken bones. No wounds either but he wasn't his usual self so to be safe off to the vet we went.

This was the 1st time Sky has been in the car with out a cage. We lined the back seat with a blanket so that the fur won't get on the seat and unsure how he would act we got extra man power and muzzled him as well. A little treat to keep him occupied through the journey.

Aw, Ben giving Sky a hug. "It's going to be alright."

He was quite curious and excited. Sky sniffed the whole back seat, and put his head on my shoulder as it to check out the road from my point of view. After awhile he mellowed down and took a nap on Ben's lap. We took off the muzzle then and he was still an angel.

Finally, we reached the veterinary clinic. Sky walked right in. Perhaps he remembered that he got his vaccination here 4 months back? Well he went straight for the table and put his 2 front paws up on the table! It was as if he knew he was suppose to be there.

The good doctor said that he had a sprain. Could have been resulted from slipping, jumping, or other reasons but it was mild. He even said that we were right in bringing him in so early as it could get worse.

Sky was given an injection to relax the muscle and he didn't even flinched. A packet of painkillers and some other medications and we're sent off.

On the way back we decided to not put on his muzzle. You can tell Sky was feeling much better as he kept looking and sniffing around.

See how happy he is? I think he likes car rides.

Gucci was there too to treat an eye infection. But poor thing, He was terrified of the vet. Perhaps beign groggy from his medication he propped himself at the bottom.

Moral of the story: Always seek expert help ASAP and doggies like cars.

@Sonny Are you saying my dogs are cute? well if you are thanks^^

@ohmywtf NO! Because pure breeds are weaker. My Lulou is a mixed breed so genetically more superior! lols...

My dog seems to like to go to the Vet.

He goes there, gets pampered like mad and come home full of energy rampaging through the house.

Sometimes do wonder what hte vets feed them before releasing back to the owner :(

@michael Yip lols...perhaps it's a conspiracy? more energy=more destruction=harm to the dog= more money to the vet? just a theory ;p
