Milk is good...

I love milk. I love fresh milk.

When I was growing up, my mom would order fresh milk everyday from an Indian uncle. He would drop by and hang a packet of milky goodness on our gate everyday without fail. 2 toots later and off he goes to another house waiting for their daily dose of calcium. Then my mom would warm it up again in a pot and there you go, a nice warm glass of cows milk. Nothing beats that dairy smell. Gosh I miss those days....

Well many MANY years and fresh milk that comes in a box later I stumbled upon this,

I think Nubian is a type of goat and this is it's milk.

Yes it's goat milk, the type that goes mehhh~

Well being my curious self I bought a bottle to try. There's something about the clinking of milk bottles that makes me happy ^^ Before I go on about how it tastes, a few fast facts about Mehhhh~'s milk:

1)Goat milk is a great skin moisturizer and rejuvenator.

Cleopatra bathed in it and if you look closer there are many body soaps and bath gels made with goats milk. Something about the pH being closes to our human skin and other goaty goodness.

2) If you're anemic try switching to goats milk.

3) Easier to digest compared to cows milk. The goat milk proteins are most similar to the protein found in human milk. But NEVER substitute with out referring to a specialists especially to babies.

4) Cow's are often given hormones and supplements meant for their well being. These can travel into the milk that we often drink. Not good as we're humans and those synthetic hormones are meant for a large heifer.

If the reason for switching is health related, always ALWAYS refer to a specialist. Sure, well meaning auties and uncles might recommend but before trying, do your research and consult a specialist.

I drank it cold as the seller recommended as warming it too high a temperature might kill off the goodness. Besides I was too lazy to wash up after that anyways.

I'm definately going to buy more again but a little difficult to source this around my parts.
