Le Couple

Found this wonderful little treasure while hunting for possible songs to use during my wedding dinner. Such a lovely and innocent voice~

Wishes.
Emi Fujita

I looked in the sky and there I saw a star shining so bright above
I closed my eyes and wished upon the star that I would fine true love
Someone who needed me
Someone to share my life
For a love that would be true
I would wait forever
So...no...matter how long it may be
I will be waiting
One star-brighter than the others
Two Hearts-beating for each other
I believe wishes really come true
Love at first sight I knew it from the moment when you said hello
I hoped you felt it too, but we both so shy-how was I to know
when you reached for my hand
I knew you were the one
We laughed and talked for hours like I'd known you forever
Like...a...dream or something from a book
True love had found me
One star-brighter than the others
Two Hearts-beating for each other
Noe I see wishes really come true
You just have to dream
Nothing's as bad as it seems
to be...believe me
Someone's waiting for you to try
There in the sky
One star-brighter than the others
Two Hearts-beating for each other
You will see wishes really come true
You can't stop believing-wishes do come true
You gotta believe me (wish on a star) wishes do come true...

Effortlessly sang by Emi Fujita from Japan. She debuted as a singer with her husband, Ryuji Fujita as the group Le Couple and released their 1st album in 1994. But later in 2001, Emi made her solo debut with Camomile Plus. This album consists of mostly cover songs.

I simply love the way many Japanese female singers can sound so "light" almost dream like and the fact that Emi doen't have the accent is uber cool (no offence) What is it? Their vocal cords? Diphthong? Culture? The food they eat? Because I'll eat all the wasabi in Jusco if it can make me sound like her *sigh* but I digress...

Just posted this to share with my honeys, darlings and sayangs out there...

Mon Jardin.

Lookie what I found in my garden today^^ I have a habit of throwing left over fruits or vege in to mon petit jardin. It' really small just made up of a few pots that's all.Perhaps I might extend it further but trying to juggle work, Sky, Lulou and Ben as well is quite an act I feel. I'm sure there are people out here whom are far more talented in juggling than I am but hey.. I'm new and learning. One pin at a time please.

Not sure what plant is this. Any botanist out there?

APPLE! But doubt it'll survive the 2nd trimester with the hot weather coming.

NANGKA!!! or better know as Jack fruit. Why and who is Jack?

And my pride, Avocado tree!
Supposedly it'll suck all the nutrients int he ground around it so I'm not suppose to plant anything in it's perimeter and expect it to live. Perhaps that's why avocado is a super fruit pact with nutrients? Avocado trees take 5 years to bear fruit unless I can do some transPLANT from the stem of a mature specimen. Anyone in Malaysia with a mature Avocado tree willing to donate a stem?
