The UM elections came and went. Nothing much I can say about it. Blue, Green. It’s your choice as long as you vote and not hide in coward. They say that we shouldn’t involve politics in university but the truth of the matter is, politic is everywhere. I always thought that politicians were confident and eloquent. But year after year, the students running to be our representative are like empty vases, louder but with nothing much to say. Some even choose to be silent, which I think is better than making a big hoo-ha. Huh, I question their sincerity and commitment. How are they to represent us? Why are they running? I would think that they actually want to fight for student rights. Well, not actually fight but to negotiate. Maybe our generation lacks communication skills among many other things such are accepting differences and having an opinion.
Recently I’ve seeing things that I wish wasn’t so. It’s like a twilight zone. People acting unbecoming. Inhumane. To say that they act worse than animals would be an insult to the animal kingdom. Sure animals kill their children but its all part of natural selection. They don’t violate their younger ones for sick curiosity. We humans are suppose to have this highly evolved brain with self awareness , consciousness and such that sets us apart but perhaps we are DE-evolving. Huh…
Joel says that I have been using the excuse "To each their own" one to many times. But it’s true, isn’t it? Agree to disagree. I’m just acknowledging the possibility that other people have other preferences and opinions. But then again I do enjoy sometimes having a friendly debate about anything, trivial or otherwise. Makes you realize that you take things for granted. See how and why people think that way. But it’s only fun when people don’t get overly defensive and too pissy, besides at the end of the day we are friends^^
Well, got to go for classes now. Jean got several stitches on his right arm which I want to investigate. Hey, I’m not Keh-Po-Chi la. Just that I care thats all. Take care people. Holiday’s just around the corner but take another turn and exams right there ready to pounce on you ;P
